Alanna Allen

Alanna grew up in Tampa, Florida and moved to Gainesville to go to school. She is planning on getting a degree in animal sciences from UF and going on to become a veterinarian. She has been a technician at Gainesville Animal Hospital since February 2016. She enjoys paddle-boarding, yoga, rock-climbing, and video games. Alex Miller

Alex is a senior at the University of Florida and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English. She started working at our East and West locations in February 2017 and works both as a receptionist and a technician. In the future, she hopes to attend veterinary school and pursue a career in shelter medicine. In her spare time, Alex enjoys reading and watching movies. Alondra Vega

Hey there, I’m Alondra! I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and moved to Gainesville when I was 18. I started working at both the East and West locations in September 2015. I caught “fur baby fever” within two months and thus came Arya, my first Catahoula cur puppy. Arya was the center of our world for 11 months and now she shares it with Ylva. We also share the house with our cat Moonshine, Freya a Columbian red tail boa, 12 tarantulas and 3 rescued bearded dragons. My partner Corey and I just welcomed our first child, Weylyn Lowell Brown, into the world. We hope that our love of animals becomes a family tradition. I aspire to become a wildlife ecologist one day and also advance my career at Gainesville Animal Hospital. 


Bryce Thompson

Bryce is originally from Ft. Lauderdale Florida.  He moved to Gainesville for college, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Journalism and Communications at University of Florida.  Bryce one day will become a wildlife journalist in hopes to produce his own wildlife TV Show.  Bryce has been working with us at Archer Animal Hospital, Gainesville Animal Hospital East & West since December 2016. With his spare time Bryce enjoys going to Florida's natural Springs, attending Florida's Baseball games and hanging out with family and friends. Bryce's Favorite TV show was Spartacus, but any other action TV or Movie will do.lank Space


Connie C.

David Graham

David is originally from Lakeland, Florida and moved to Gainesville to pursue an education in animal sciences at the University of Florida. He hopes to attend vet school upon graduation with special interest in large animal medicine.  He has been working as a veterinary technician since high school and he joined the Gainesville Animal Hospital team in January 2016. He enjoys four wheeling, wakeboarding, and traveling during his spare time. Elsa Cuadros

Elsa was born and raised here in Gainesville, and has been with Gainesville Animal Hospital since August 2016.  She is currently a junior attending the University of Florida in the Honors Program, pursuing a bachelor's in zoology. Elsa and her Welsh pony, JJ, perform a riding style called dressage and compete in local competitions. Elsa has been riding horses since she was five years old, and hopes to be an equine veterinarian in the future. Jessica Cuttin

Jessica joined the Gainesville Animal Hospital team in January 2017. She is from Jacksonville, Florida and is currently pursuing her Bachelor's in Biology at the University of Florida with hopes of going to veterinary school. In August 2016, she adopted her kitten, Ember, who is growing up so fast! Jessica volunteers frequently with the Alachua County Humane Society and supports local rescue groups, such as Helping Hands and Gainesville Pet Rescue. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature trails and spending time with friends and family.

Kamryn Shapero 

My name is Kamryn and I have been working at Gainesville Animal Hospital since August 2015 when I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. I am currently pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in both animal sciences and zoology and plan to go to UF for my DVM. I have 2 cats-Olivia Benson (after the show Law and Order: SVU) and Snow White-a labrador/pit bull mix named Lexus, and a Goffin’s Cockatoo named Hedwig (after the Harry Potter series). In my spare time I am a foster mom for kittens through the Humane Society. I work as both a technician and a receptionist at the West location and am in charge of the hospital websites.

Rachel Wechsler

My name is Rachel and I began working at Gainesville Animal Hospital in January 2017 as a veterinary technician.  I attend school at the University of Florida as an Animal Biology major, and plan on becoming a small animal veterinarian. Rachell McDavid

"Success is not in where she is standing, but in which direction she is going". Rachell was born and raised on a farm in Florida. She has been a member of the GAH team since January 2017 and loves being able to follow her childhood dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. Rachell is currently taking classes at Santa Fe College for her AA degree in Biological Sciences. After she graduates from Santa Fe College she is going to the University of Florida for vet school. In her spare time, she loves to cook, sing, skate, and go fishing. Rachell lives her life by traveling when she’s able and enjoying even the littlest of things. No matter what life throws at her, she’ll always find a way to smile. 


Rebekah Fry

Rebekah was born and raised in Florida.  She is currently a student at the University of Florida pursuing a degree in microbiology.  She has been a member of our team since September 2016, and she is enjoying learning about the various aspects of veterinary medicine every day.  Rebekah has a wide array of animals at home, including dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons.  In her free time, she enjoys going fishing and taking care of her animals. Samantha (Sammy) Quirie

Sammy was born and raised in Florida. She has always had a passion for animals and is actively involved in 4-H. Her passions include livestock and raising awareness for the agriculture industry. Sammy has a large array of animals at her home in Archer, including goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, dogs, and cats. She is currently dual-enrolled at Santa Fe College and Santa Fe High School. When she graduates high school, she hopes to attend UF and pursue a career in shelter medicine. In her spare time, Sammy enjoys riding her horse and volunteering at Operation Catnip. 


Sara Neuman

Sara is from Miami, Florida, where she graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University in 2016. She began working as a receptionist and veterinary technician at both Gainesville Animal Hospital East and West in August 2017. Together, Sara and her family have three hilarious dogs named Prince Wendell (Corgi mix), Petunia (Chihuahua-Rat terrier mix), and Hennessy (Dalmatian-Pit mix), as well as a handsome tuxedo cat named Kitty Cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening, practicing archery, playing video games, and all things Game of Thrones.


Sara Yonkers

Sara was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and moved to the states when she was very young. She became a technician for Gainesville Animal Hospital in 2012. Sara is currently a veterinary student at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and has interests in both domestic and exotic animals. She has four adorable cats named Booboo, Richard, Nala and Tiggy, as well as a green iguana named Ryuu. In her spare time, she enjoys solving Sudoku puzzles and Rubik's cubes in addition to playing video games and adventuring outdoors.
